Our Focus
Oneida County has limited transitional housing. Treatment Enhancement, Government Policy and Liaison Team is working to reduce/eliminate barriers to implementing transitional housing models.
Three Different Housing Models:
1. Scattered Site
2. Clustered Site
3. Communal Living
Barriers include:
- Funding & Sustainability
- Policy & Regulatory
- Community/Social (NIMBYism, Stigma)
- Programmatic & Operational
- Resident-Level Challenges
This team also explores and implements legislative changes needed to help improve the lives of residents and reduce the harms of the opioid crisis.

The Treatment Enhancement, Government Policy and Liaison Team is a subgroup of Task Force members that implements strategies to increase access to treatment services for people with Substance/Opioid Use Disorder. This team also discusses legislative change including:
